MEETING OF ILLINOIS VALLEY STAMPEDE   FOR AUGUST 21, 2010

 

The monthly meeting was held in Centennial Park in Peru.    Lisa M  gave the treasures’ report.

The club welcomed a new member, Nick T  He drives a 1989 Black 5.0 302. Welcome to the club.

Lisa M  will be taking clothing orders from anyone who needs anything.  Contact her about this.

 In old news – we held our last club sponsored cruise on August 20 @ the Root Beer Stand in Oglesby.  Unfortunately, we were again rained out.  But it was held rain or shine.  Approx 10 cars were there.

The annual Christmas party was brought up.  It will be held again this year at Wise Guys in Princeton.   There will be more details on this as time gets closer.

The club events for September will be Sept 5 – Henry Cruise, and Sept 11 Cystic Fibrosis cruise held at the Root Beer stand in Oglesby.  More information will sent out including times to meet before hand.

Mark will be sending out cruise information weekly.

The next meeting will be Held on September 18 @ the Miller/Bryan houses, for the annual club cookout.

Time will be 12 noon.  After the cookout, and also meeting, we will be cruising on over to LaSalle for their cruise, and also to Waterstreet cruise.  This will be great oppurtunity to actually cruise between cruises.
